Taking Care of Your Team
After a critical incident occurs canaPHEM is with you every step of the way. Our two step recovery process will help your team get back to business helping them cope with the incident while preparing the organization for the future incidents.
Upon notification our Critical Incident Stress Management team will respond to defuse or debrief your team helping them cope with the psychological impacts of the incident. Defusing’s or debriefing should be held within 72 hours of the incident and are completely voluntary. Lasting about two hours this is a safe place for team members to speak about the incident and receive information about stress reactions.
The second step is to review the incident to learn from it. We help you revise your Emergency First Aid Game Plan™ based on the lessons learnt. The result is a team that is confident, competent and ready to respond.
