WHMIS - 2015
Canadian Law requires that any person exposed to hazardous materials in the workplace must be trained in WHMIS (also known as GHS 2015).
This WHMIS course is an instructor-led training program that can be done at your worksite or online through ZOOM. It is a 4-hour course that consists of 7 chapters, followed by a final exam.
Workplace Violence & Harassment
Workplace violence and harassment can have devastating consequences for both workers and the work environment. It can affect production, morale, retention, and personal well being.
Employers are required to prevent harassment and violence in their workplace. This consists of providing adequate training to all employees on how to recognize violent incidents, how to respond, and how to prevent workplace violence and harassment.
Workplace Inspections and Incident Investigations
It is required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act that the workplace be inspected on a monthly basis.
Even where inspections are not legally required, a well managed inspection program can help to identify problems and assess risks before accidents or injuries occur.
