Workplace Violence & Harassment
Workplace violence and harassment can have devastating consequences for both workers and the work environment. It can affect production, morale, retention, and personal well being.
Employers are required to prevent harassment and violence in their workplace. This consists of providing adequate training to all employees on how to recognize violent incidents, how to respond, and how to prevent workplace violence and harassment.
This is an instructor lead seminar or workshop that can be done on-site or via an online webinar using Zoom (or another similar application).
Objectives of course
- Identify factors that contribute to violence and harassment
- Identify new requirements based on Bill 132
- Break down definitions of harassment, sexual harassment, and violence
- Discuss applicable legislation concerning workplace violence
