Looking to apply your medic training in a high-impact, fast-paced environment? At canaPHEM, we offer licensed Primary Care Medics the opportunity to work major public events where clinical readiness, professionalism, and real-time care truly matter.

We are a trusted provider of professional event medical services and emergency training across Ontario. Our Event Medic Division supports some of the busiest and most exciting venues in Hamilton, with full clinical oversight and the backing of an experienced medical team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prehospital medical care at public events under delegation
  • Follow Ontario ALS PCS and canaPHEM medical protocols
  • Arrive prepared, in uniform, and on time
  • Monitor and restock medical supplies and equipment
  • Respond to medical calls quickly and safely
  • Complete PCRs and incident reports accurately and on time
  • Participate in CME and team training days

Qualifications:

  • Ontario Community College (2-year program) or Ontario Private College (1-year program) Diploma in Emergency Health Care/Paramedicine
  • EMCA/AEMCA Certification in the Province of Ontario or in progress of obtaining AEMCA
  • Valid CPR Level C / Standard First Aid
  • All qualifications that meet the requirements of the Ambulance Act and related Regulations, including being free from communicable diseases and having a clear criminal record
  • Ability to meet and maintain health requirements as set by the Ambulance Act
  • Physical ability to provide patient care
  • Vulnerable sector check, annually
  • Ability to consistently maintain job attendance as scheduled
  • Candidates must have their own transportation
